We understand that your pets are important members of your family. Rest assured we will treat them as members of our family.
The Humane Society of the United States has a great article we'd like to share:
When you must be away from home—say for travel or an emergency—and don't want to leave your pet in a boarding kennel, who takes care of your pet? If you're like many pet owners, you ask a friend or neighbor to stop in and pour some kibble and water in your pet's bowls. But is this what's best for your pet? There's a good chance that your friends and neighbors lack proper pet-care experience and have even forgotten to show up. They may also resent frequent requests to look after your pet while you're gone. So what is the solution? Consider hiring a "pet sitter"—a professional, qualified individual paid to care for your pet.
A pet sitter offers both you and your pet many benefits.

We visit twice daily, morning and evening, but can visit three times daily too. Based on your preference and our availability, we will come at the time you specify.
I am happy to give the consultation over the phone, email, or in person. We will discuss your pet's needs, as well as your needs. We will schedule a time for a "meet and greet" so I can be introduced to your pet and have you fill out important paperwork before the services are needed. The key and deposit will also be collected at this time. The "meet and greet" will normally be at least a week before you require my services. Any time longer than that your pet may forget who I am and will be less comfortable on our first visit.
50% of the total charges are due at the time of the "meet and greet," before my first visit to care for your pets. This locks in our reservation. The remainder of the payment is due no later than 5 days after services are rendered. You may leave payment at your home for pickup or pay online with PayPal. Late fees will apply. Cash, personal check, and PayPal are the only types of payment accepted, please.
If your pet has an emergency such as a medical emergency or if he/she accidentally escapes the premises, I will contact you immediately. If I can not reach you or your emergency contacts immediately, I will act in my best judgment to care for your pet. If a medical emergency arises and I feel your pet must be treated by a veterinarian, I will rush your pet to your family veterinarian or to the nearest emergency clinic. Based on the authorization given from you (there are forms you will indicate this), I will proceed as you wish until you are available to make further decisions. As a veterinary professional, I have been trained to handle many medical emergencies such as wounds, seizures, bodily trauma, poisoning, and being able to identify certain medical conditions. Based on this training, I feel confident that I will provide the best treatment for your pet in the event of an emergency.
